Mr. George W. Bush is trying to make a come back and get on America's good side. He and Bill Clinton are doing what they can to lead a private fundraiser for Haiti. President Barack Obama asked them to lead the bipartisan effort. I think it is great that Bush is doing what he can to become the guy and helping out Haiti is a good start. I wonder what he's willing to do next and would it make a change.
Obama has did a lot for his forst year in office. From signing his first bill into law on January 29, 2009 to He pledging to abide by agreements to pull all U.S. forces out of Iraq by the end of 2011, on July 22, 2009 plus much more. If thats the case imagine what he may do for the rest of his term. I think if everyone be patient and stop doubting Mr. Obama he would do everything he needs to do to make America happy.

Obama has stated that he has not succeeded in bringing this country back together. I cant blame him for trying. Our previous president, Bush, has messed our country up so bad that it left a lot of pressure on Obama. It has not even been a whole year since Obama president and yet he did a lot. I do not expect Obama to perform a miracle and make this counntry a better place because I know it'll take some time. People should just be patient and let Obama do what he could without being rushed.

I've read an article about how President Obama is asking Congress for an additional $33 billion to fight wars in Afghanistan and Iraq plus the $708 billion he needs for the Defense Department next year. I really don't think this is necessary for the simple fact these wars are not even important; they are not even popular. We are already in a recession and we need all the money we can get and using all of that money to fight an unknown war is pointless.

I’ve read about how the 2010 situation grows more difficult for Democrats. Some people are starting to give up on this party because they lost all hope. For example, Parker Griffith doesn’t want to be apart of something that is bad for our country. This party is in so much trouble that it could also lose its grip on seats Obama held in Illinois and Vice President Joe Biden long occupied in Delaware. Although the Democrats are trying there hardest to fix these problems, they need to try a little harder before they lose everything.
It is ridiculous that so many law enforcements died this year. It’s a tragedy. 125 law enforcements died on the job trying to make our country a better place for others. But the weirdest thing is that 125 is the lowest of the law enforcements deaths since 108 a half-century ago. You would think that would be the highest. The violence of America needs to stop; it’s giving our country a bad name.

Many people are blaming the democrats for the lost of their jobs. This year hasn't been a good year for the democrats due to being blamed for America going down hill. President Obama is the blame for bruising all democrats' actions. I honestly don't think anyone should be blamed for what's going on in America right now. America was already going down hill before Obama was president and he's doing the best he could to fix it. The process of getting America back on track isn't going to happen over night; it is going to take some time and people really need to be a liitle patient and stop pressuring Obama and all other democrats.

There is now a bill that protects reporters' confidential sources. I honestly think that is dumb for the simple fact if a reporter's source is confidential how would we know if it is true or not without any way of getting proof. This bill is just giving reporters a way of talking about others without any hidden sources. There is no way of questioning the sources if there was a need.
I've read a blog called, FIRST-PERSON: Government-run health care by stealth, which was about how the senate voted on having the Government-run health care closed. The need a stealth plan in order to gain a few more votes for this to happen. I feel as though this should not be closed for the simple fact people need the government- run health plan. From my understanding the government- run helps those who can't pay for their own health care and without that help a lot of complications would take place.
Many black lawmakers are angry with Obama because of his lack of support toward the minority communities. They are becoming impatient after a year of watching him dedicate trillions of dollars to prop up banks and fight wars while unemployment for blacks increase. Looking at this I kind of feel as though Obama is helping the rich and leaving the poor alone which is wrong. I do not think the lawmakers are over reacting with the way they feel for the simple fact Obama needs to make some changes to the decisions he is making and help those that really need to be helped and not those who are already set.

OMG!!! I'm so irked that septa is really on strike. Though I can walk to school in the morning, I feel bad for those who actually depend on Septa to get from place to place. I don't know for sure why they are on strike because I've heard many different reasons, but I do know that this is an effed up situation. How are the people who get on Septa suppose to get to work and/or school? Septa is effecting a lot of people who don't have anytging to do with the problems thay are having. I mean if you, as an individual, didn't like the way business was going for you then you should have just quit, don't go on strike messing up everyones else's schedule.

Why is it that in my school the 9th graders get all the special treatment. They have their own shirts, their own halls, store, etc. I don't think that's fair, especially for them to have the bad behavior they have. I think us seniors should at least get our own shirts. That way our school is showing a sign of aprriciation to us seniors for making it this far at West Philly High. I am so irked that we don't get the treatment us seniors deserve.

Oh, and to be a little off topic,
Shout outs to Chris Breezy for his bangin new video,
"I Can Transform Ya" and his "Graffiti" album cover.

Yo how in the world did the West Philly High football players lose to University City. Im so irked about that. i was out cheering in the rain for my fellow speedboys, competing with the opposing cheerleaders, and we lost. How effed up is that? After the game the opposing cheerleaders had the nerve to walk over to us and act like they was gon do something but instead of my fellow cheerleaders going about it the wrong way, we just cheered the speedboys on but still got in trouble by our cheerleading coach. that was the irk of the day.

Shouts to rihanna with her new single "Russian Roulette"!!!!!
That jawn crazy... Literally.
